Greater than one weekDifficulty of install depends on your skill set. First time without tools will be challenging. Watch videos and take your time. Only issu is the adhesive started to detach. I recommend putting a case on that covers the front to keep it secured. Other then that works good

> 3 daySeems to work fine. First time doing this. Make sure you test it out before adhering it. The home button didn’t work. Save your old home button and ribbon.

> 3 dayA hair dryer does not do good enough of a job to remove the old screen so make sure you use a heat gun. It is a fairly easy installation once you get the old screen out. The reason for the 1-star review is that the home button on the replacement separated from the screen after only one month of normal use by an adult (no kids mashing the button real hard or being abusive). Now I am looking for another brand of replacement.

> 3 dayAfter replacing the screen. It turns out the button didn’t work. Upon inspection, it was a defect in the product. Fortunately, the newer iOS doesn’t require the button and since this was for an older iPad that didn’t support fingerprint. I am keeping it but it is annoying that after all the work to replace the screen that the replacement screen button didn’t work. Also note that double stick tape is not included in the kit. You will have to buy your own 3M tape.

> 3 dayRepairing a cracked iPad screen is not the easiest thing to do. However, with the included instructions and online videos it isn’t so bad. If you are having any trouble removing the old glass use more heat to loosen the adhesive. The touch screen itself looks good and responds very nicely to touch. However, it is slightly undersized leaving a noticeable gap on one side of the iPad after repair. The adhesive that came with this screen is not very high quality at all and I fear I may need to remove it to add in a higher quality solution. I have two sections that are not sticking very well. This is the reason I am only giving this screen 3 stars. Hopefully a good quality case that traps the iPad front and back will keep it functional for some time.

> 3 dayHome button no longer works . I suggest reusing your old home button/flex cable . Adhesive sucks , buy 3m double side tape if you chose to buy this replacement screen with non working home button .
