I honestly dont understand the good reviews for this product. I have purchased 4 of these valves for my toilet in as many years. Each one fails in a different way. The most recent one has decided to see how slowly it can fill up the tank while not actually completely not working. Its got it down to about 15 minutes. Thats a FIFTEEN minute turn-around time for flushing. I have had this newest valve for less than 2 months. It worked fine for about 3 weeks.The toilet itself is pretty crappy (pun intended) engineering, but its like fluidmaster wants to punish me for buying an experimental low-flow toilet (for its time). I feel like they just gave up on making the valves work. I am reminded of the movie Tommy Boy each time my fluidmaster valve fails: If you want me to take a dump in a box and mark it guaranteed, I will I think fluidmaster lives by those words, metaphorically (barely).

This Fluidmaster valve fixed our leaking toilet issues. We have used other Fluidmaster products so we trust the name. I couldnt find anything like it at our two local well-known home improvement stores.
