> 3 dayWork at an independent euro automotive shop. Do tons of diagnostic and troubleshooting. This multimeter saves me lots of time. Would recommend to any technician. A must have compared to the new Snap-on meter that is almost three times the price.

> 3 dayIf you have any need to use this meter to inspect readings below 22 mV AC, do not buy this meter. The specification says it is accurate from 0.1mV AC to 1000V AC. However, after many weeks of working with Fluke on an issue of the meter not reading below 22 mV AC, while comparing readings using two different devices, they finally admitted that the Fluke 233 is not going to be able to read those values. They offered to replace the 233 with an 87V device for free. Thanks for trying to replace my $315 meter with a $280 meter with less capability for remote viewing. They were informed we would be keeping the 233 to do remote display capabilities, but were very disappointed that the specifications were not met by a flagship product. Clearly shows a lack of testing and support to fix their design.

Greater than one weekI am a ASE master Tech and I love this meter. I have had it now for about a year and it gets used every day and I am still using the original batteries. Some have reviews that say the batteries leak and destroy the meter, but I only put the BEST batteries on the market in this meter so I hope I do not ever have that problem. Also I was very weary about buying this meter because of so many people say that it has a battery draw issue on the batterys but again I have never experienced this.

> 3 dayThe meter and its features are great, I used it at home a few times and use it at work repairing cars. I have had this meter 2 years now, its held up very well, but after today its GONE, I traded it in and bought a Fluke 88. I am sick and tired of having to pull and install the batteries each time I use the meter! You have to remove the batteries from the meter and display after using meter or they will be dead in a day or 2, even if you use the meter regularly, the batteries dont last. its a shame.... Sounds petty, just swap batteries and save money from getting a new meter, but Ive had it.

02-06-2025Excellent reliability and performance just as advertised. This particular fluke allows remote probing so that you can work with far junction boxes while calibrating on site.
