> 24 hourNot an electrician but this is far superior to my old tester. Really like the field sense technology.

> 24 hourIf you’re holding the meter and your hand touches the grounding block, be prepared to have 110 or 220 pulsing down your arm, across your heart, and into the earth.

> 24 hourAll functions work as described and it makes this unit very easy to use and very easy to understand. no longer do i need to disable a circuit to verify it has voltage nor do i have to risk the dangerous parts of dealing with electricity. Price point is perfect for this item and would gladly pay the same price again. i am a big tool guy and am always looking for the next tool to make my life easier. this tool has done just that and is now my go to meter for AC electrical in my home

> 24 hourI bought this unit to replace a broken T5-1000. These units function the same but I find that the field sense voltage measurement is finicky and often just find myself using the probes for accurate readings. There is a small area on the back of the unit that you touch to ground out and get the reading. The screen illuminates green to indicate you are reading correctly, but it still isnt perfect. This function is kind of a fancy non contact voltage tester (wiggly) in that it gives a reading but it can be off by more than 50 volts.

> 24 hourCommercial HVAC technician here. Purchased this meter because I was interested in the new Field Sense technology as it would greatly help with equipment diagnostics since it enables you do read voltage without exposing wires or breaking a circuit. It is also much safer as you don’t have to measure voltage with leads. Field Sense WORKS and is acceptably accurate! You do, however, need to attach a common lead to a ground to get a proper reading. See pics for voltage and current readings comparison taken with my other fluke meters.
