> 24 hourThis light works but shortly after using it the fixture became very loose and it had to be taken apart to tighten it back up.

> 24 hourI really don’t understand how this has as high ratings as it does. It worked fine for maybe 3 hours? Then my temps started dropping in the tank and the fixture was cool to the touch. I fiddled with the bulb and turned it back on, it got warm again and stopped working about 30 mins later. It keeps shutting off! Huge piece of crap, but you get what you pay for I guess. Now I need to buy a real lamp from the pet store.

> 24 hourNicely made. The parts all look solid. A bargain for the $6.74 I paid. The socket is actually rated for 660W, but the fixture is only rated at 75W. This is most likely due to the heat that ceramic emitters put out. The plastic wiring cant take higher wattage bulbs. I bought a pair of 75W ceramic emitters, and they got up to 624F!
