> 24 hourThe box was destroyed when I received it and it was missing two pieces so I couldn’t set Up my light. Look like a refurbished item... going to the aquarium store and buying a brand new one

> 24 hourThis is a nice light with good features. Using it on a 29 gal. Planted tank and I have no complaints about the light so far. I was however disappointed with the way my package was shipped. The shipper basically took the retail box and slapped the shipping label on it with no extra tape. I received it with the box open all parts exposed and the factory tape was the only thing holding the box closed and that came unglued, hence I received the box already opened. Who knows if the parts ever fell out of the box during shipping but hopefully not.

> 24 hourThis is not my first set of these lights. I want them on all my tanks, but it’s hard to come up with $600 all at once! I’ve thrown away so many failed plants I don’t even want to think about the money I wasted, but now all my plants are thriving under these lights. My aquarium started out with several plants all neatly scaped, and then it turned into a jungle! The more plants there are, the happier my fish are. But what attracted me to these lights is the ability to not only time the lights, but the ability to control the brightness and intensity, as well as the color hues. I can set the lights to begin low at 6 am, and have the brightness increase over the next half hour - an then increase again around noon, start decreasing in the evening, until they gradually shut off at night. Once the days start getting shorter, I can adjust the time to turn on later, mimicking winter. I never did like having a dark tank and with a flick of the switch, it’s full daylight. That’s not how it is in the Amazon or Thailand. You set the lights on your smartphone, and once they’re set, you can forget about it - unless there’s a power outage, when you would have to reset the lights. There are additional pre-set options, one that mimics a thunderstorm with lightening, but I can’t imagine why you would use that because I think it would stress the fish. I have 2 more sets to go and then every tank will have one. Yes, this is more money than I have ever spent on aquarium lights, but they are worth every penny.

> 24 hourHappy with these lights overall. I bought four of the 32 watt lights for my 90 gallon / 340 liter tank (48”x18”x24”). It’s a deep tank with a cross bar, so I opted for four shorter lights vs. longer. First picture shows how I’ve configured them on the tank. My biggest issue is with the app. I love being able to control all my lights via one app. The only issue is that the the slider bar that is used to set the light schedule times in “Pro”mode is awful. I carefully slide until I get to the desired time like 09:00, then when I lift my finger it shifts to 09:02 or 08:58. It’s minor, but when setting 4 separate lights, I prefer to have them all change at the same time. I finally found a workaround by taking a screenshot of the factory light settings, then deleting and recreating the time markers. When you create a new time marker, the time can be set using a different selector tool that’s much easier to use. The good news is that once you get one light set, you can use “Save As” then export it to your other lights, so now I have all four lights on identical schedules. The “Auto” mode is much easier to configure, but only allows four times to be set while “Pro” offers 10. I like the “Pro” because it allows me to set a “low intensity” period in the middle of the day where the lights are dimmed for a while. One other thing that isn’t really an issue (just surprised me) was the size of the power supplies (see last two pictures). Based on the label, it looks like these can get pretty hot. So far, even after a full day of operation mine are just warm not actually hot, but it’s something I’ll keep an eye on.
