Fluval Rubber Adapter for Ribbed Hosing, 304, 305, 404, 405 (2 Pieces)

Fluval hoses off the shelf have one permanently attached rubber connector at each end. The in-flow and out-flow connectors each have detachable rubber hose adaptors. Works great if all you want is to shorten your hoses and go straight from filter to in-flow/out-flow. If, however, you are wanting to add something to your hose lines (such as an in-line UV), and you do not want hoses that are horrendously long, then these are the adaptors you need. They fit snuggly over the cut ends of the fluval hoses to make a nice tight seal.

Couplers work well for what they intend to do. Should last forever with their solid construction. Make sure you get the right diameter.

Bought this to turn my Fluval filter to make it clean two tanks instead of one. Everything works great! Received my parts quick and I am happy with everything.

Perfect piece needed for my tubing regarding my Fluval pump. It was described on the website as promised. The quality matched what I already had and this replacement was a perfect fit as described.

Do not buy Fluval Filters. I have two of them representing $600 in purchases. Both filters leak and I have found other reviews warning of the same problem. The leak is usually through the Primer Assembly and replacing the part will NOT solve the problem. I wish I could retract my previous review, however I will warn anyone who reads this the filter units will eventually leak!

The adaptors fit perfectly and were exactly what I needed to install the UV sterilizer which I had purchased. However, why in the world are they white? The hose is black as are all of the other part included with the Filter, it makes no sense. They stand out Like a sore thumb at the back of the aquarium.
