> 3 dayThese fit perfectly. I just wish they came in black. The hoses are sleek black and then BAM big ugly white connectors.

> 3 dayFluval hoses off the shelf have one permanently attached rubber connector at each end. The in-flow and out-flow connectors each have detachable rubber hose adaptors. Works great if all you want is to shorten your hoses and go straight from filter to in-flow/out-flow. If, however, you are wanting to add something to your hose lines (such as an in-line UV), and you do not want hoses that are horrendously long, then these are the adaptors you need. They fit snuggly over the cut ends of the fluval hoses to make a nice tight seal.

Greater than one weekBought this item twice. Love it! Fits a variety of hoses and fittings with no leaks. WHY did it go from $ 8.91 in price to $12.49. in a couple of months? Guess I got as many as I will need!

> 3 dayUsed this to split the Fluval hose that came with the 307 and to connect them to CO2 reactor which had 3/4” barbed fittings. Pushed them on the ends of the cut hoses as far as they’d go without a whole lot of effort. There’s a point where it’s visually obvious you’ve got them in far enough. Didn’t feel like I needed to glue or silicone them in place. Slid the other end over the barbs on the reactor and tightened down the barbed ends with hose clamps to reduce the risk of them getting pulled off. No leaks.
