Forney 20857 Tap Magic Industrial Pro Cutting Fluid, 4 oz

Drilling and milling aluminum, tried with WD40 - chatters and very slow to cut. Received Tap Magic and it worked like a champ. much less tendency to chatter, more controllable, much smoother and faster. This product is great!!!

dont really know but Ive been using this brand for a few decades and it works so well I wont try anything else. you can buy it in a larger can from Amazon and save some coin if you need a lot.

I just purchased a drill press from someone so I had to buy another bottle of this stuff. I have used it in my air tools as well to keep them running well.

Worked great for cooling cobalt bit with plate stainless.

Used with a tap to clean out weldnuts for a trailer hitch install. Tap went in beautifully with minimal effort... tap I purchased was not cheap, FYI.

Only used this for drilling and tapping aluminum alloy, but it works well for that application. Less heat from friction, saves wear and tear on drill bit coatings and reduces the odds of breaking a tap. Worth using.
