Placed it on my porter-cable grinder used it to remove about 100 years worth of paint from cast iron vent cover, all the wires stayed intact and all the paint was gone!

works better than vinegar baths and paint strippers at removing rust and paint. wear a mask and heavy duty gloves.

Its extra coarse and long lasting. Does not throw wires like the other less coarse wheels. Good price too

Costs a bit more but doesn’t throw wires and last a long time.

This knotted cup is decently made for the price. It has been working well in my Bosch right angle grinder removing heavy rust scale from corners and crevices of metal panels. Its one of Forneys lower priced cups imported from China with the red painted body, but it has held up to my use and is still retaining most of its bristles, so I think it was definitely worth what I paid for it here on Amazon.

I have a craftsman angle grinder from 2005ish, it came with one of these and I always thought it was supposed to vibrate like it does, until I purchased this. This appears to be way more balanced, it does the job that I ask of it, and it is affordable!. Will purchase again.

Heavy duty wire cup. Have not needed it yet. But looks to be of quality.

Im refurbishing a 60 year old drill press. I needed something to help remove the old paint, rust, and accumulated grime. This does a fantastic job. Used in a .5 inch drill it quickly got down to the bare metal. Best of all it is very good about retaining the bristles. Other wire wheels that Ive used have been prone to losing bristles and wearing down quickly to the extent that they can be unusable. That is not only frustrating but dangerous when the bristles are lost at speed. This has resolved those problems. Highly recommended.
