So I was less than happy with the coverage on this chest plate but my 3 year old fits in it ok, though it is more of a halter top on a female than a full chest protector. It is good for small things but certainly not something I feel comfortable with on his power sport equipment. The overall co structuring is good and the Velcro is strong and holds as expected.

My son is 7yr old and 71# and this thing doesn’t even come close to fitting him. We ordered a size M/L and it barely fits my 4yr old daughter. Don’t recommend at all.
