We bought this for our 4yr old he weighs about 50lbs and it fits perfect. He’s wrecked several times and never once gotten hurt (not just falling over bc his bikes too heavy wrecks either) he wears this every time he rides, he can wear it without a shirt and it’s never rubbed him in any certain area and it’s very comfortable for him. When it’s dirty I make sure it’s all strapped together so the Velcro doesn’t get torn up and put it in the washing machine and it gets its clean. It hasn’t started to snag anywhere either.
