Fried Green Tomatoes is one of the greatest movies Hollywood has ever made. It shows the importance of human relationships better than almost any other movie I can think of. It shows two different time periods, the 1920s and 30s, and the 1990s. It shows us four different women as different as could be and how they grew, in the relationships of each rime frame, into careing for each other and changing each others lives in each time frame for the better. I am aware that no review can convey the true greatness of this movie and the deep emotions this movie awakens in the viewer. I can only say this is a damn good movie that you will truly love.

This is one of my favorite movies. Witty, funny, and sad at times you just have to love the characters who are well defined and unforgettable.

This is one of my very favorites!

Had been ages since last viewing. Had forgotten it has such heavy lesbian overtones but a good movie. Funny how no one in the movie ages a day as years passed by. Whats in those tomatoes?

Loved this book and the movie is almost as good! That doesnt happen often

Tawanda!!! Kathy Bates crashing the car into the snotty nosed teenage girls car,exacting revenge for every trrampled on housewife out there, STRIKES A CHORD. Love this tale. The only draw back initially is the jumping back and forth between time periods and story lines makes it difficult to figure out who is telling the story and whats happening. Once that is settled you are invested in sticking it out to the end and watching what the past brought to your favorite characters.

I have loved this movie every since it came out. It all comes together in the end an inspiring friendship, love and hope for all. You will love it too.
