Greater than one weekWARNING - EXTREMELY DANGEROUS TO YOUR CHILD! TIPPING HAZARD! I installed these furniture anchors on an outside wall, using a stud finder. I then screwed the other side into the wood on our dresser changing table. Once I was done, I tested the safety to make sure it’d hold - I rocked the dresser 4 times with strong (but not unreasonable) force. I used MUCH less force than my 2.5 year old would use. Both cables snapped at the connectors (see picture - one is an un-bent new steel cord with attached connector, and the one next to it is the bent cord with no connector - it broke off). I have very little upper body strength, and I was able to easily break these. Please don’t risk your child’s life - please don’t buy this! Seller - you know how dangerous your product is! You are opening yourself up to serious legal liability by marketing a dangerous product that could harm or kill children.

> 3 dayThe biggest problem with these is the tip of the metal cables come off. The cables themselves are fairly stout, but I had on two occasions during installing these where the tips that connect the cable together popped off during the install with me testing it by simulating a slight tip over of the furniture. If it would have been a real tip over these would have done absolutely nothing to prevent it. They just seem like they are crimped on and nothing is really connected. I do like the mounts themselves and I have used different cables on them and everything works great. My suggestion is to swap out the cables and have at least two mounting points for anchoring with these if you purchase them.

> 3 dayThey work great. The problem is trying to loop the wire around enough times where there isnt a lot of play in the anchor and then being able to screw it in. If you have the room and dont need it to be really tight to the wall these are great, but if you want it tight to the wall it is pretty hard to get it looped around enough and get it connected. I still like the look way more than the zip ties, but they certainly are not as easy to install.

> 3 dayI have used these on furniture and for anchoring storage racks to the wall and they worked fantastic for both use cases. I would highly recommend it

> 3 dayThese say they secure up to 400 lbs. I put two on one cabinet and tested them by pulling on the cabinet a few times and both wire straps broke simultaneously after about three pulls. I would not trust my childs safety with these.

> 3 dayThe brackets and tie are good, the dry wall anchors seemed a little tiny though so I used some bigger ones to be safe

> 3 dayThis is so easy to install! And seems to be very secure for the large dresser in my sons room.

14-06-2025Incredibly easy to install and keeps the furniture secured. This kit came with everything I needed to secure two tall IKEA bookcases in my child’s room, including drywall anchors. I like that the brackets are white so they match the wall and bookcase colors, but you really can’t see it anyway as it’s hidden by the shelf. The cable was easy to loop through the bracket twice to keep it tight and close to the wall. Very happy with these anchors!

> 3 dayI have had these holding a fireplace screen so my son will not touch or fall on the hot glass from our gas fireplace. Works well for that because it can be easily removed to have the fireplace serviced. Better than the zip tie I also tried. DO NOT USE TO ANCHOR FURNITURE! Before using these on furniture, I looked again at the listing for institucions and saw a video review saying they easily break. I tied one up and with a firm pull it broke apart. Im glad I found this out before installing on a bookshelf in my sons room. If I can easily break one, they certainly cannot hold the weight of a bookshelf!

> 3 dayProduct was just as advertised. Simple installation and seems secure once properly inspected. Unfortunately 2 out of 10 of the wire parts in my order were defective in that the smaller end that screws in to the larger piece were squished flat and couldnt thread in... So I suggest checking the cable to make sure the connection is going to hold before being done with the project. Luckily I didnt need all 10 in the box so it wasnt a deal breaker for me, its just something to look out for before trusting it to do the job.
