Its nice that its flexible to install, but theres no way to adjust the cable length. The most important thing for safety is making sure the furniture has no slack to start tipping, so you need to minimize the slack in the cable. I was able to make the cable relatively snug by double looping it. Also, the product advertises 200 lbs per anchor. Maybe if the force is parallel to the wall or you installed it in a stud, but no drywall is going to stand up to 200 lbs pulling out from the wall. Additionally, the instructions suggest replacing the cable every year. I dont see anyone doing that. Overall, if you leave yourself plenty of margin for safety, its fine. But dont count on the advertised strength.

I have used these on furniture and for anchoring storage racks to the wall and they worked fantastic for both use cases. I would highly recommend it

While this is simple to use, it does function to do its only job, which is to keep furniture anchored to the wall. After installing it, I tested the strength of the connection, and the screws came out of the anchors immediately with little force. The provided screws could not get a good grip on the plastic anchor and the head of the wood screws would not sit flush with the metal brackets, so nothing was secure.

If you’re buying this to protect your children, buy something else. Before installing, I decided to test the cables. I’m not a strong person by any means. I was able to snap these cables with my hands. Not just one or two of them. I broke every single one with barely any effort. There’s absolutely no way these can hold the weight that they claim. These are dangerous.

This product brings piece of mind for bookshelves and little kids. Absolutely must have. Easy to install and durable. We have used in multiple houses.

These are great! We recently moved into a house that has chair rails so our shelves didn’t sit flush against the wall. These are a great way to attach our shelves to the walls above the chair rails so they won’t fall on our kids.

I installed these to hold up bookshelves in my house. While I was testing out the installation to ensure they would be secure enough to prevent a bookshelf from tipping over onto a child, one of the bands broke. These may not be safe to use. If you do use them, you may want to install more than one on each piece of furniture.

These say they secure up to 400 lbs. I put two on one cabinet and tested them by pulling on the cabinet a few times and both wire straps broke simultaneously after about three pulls. I would not trust my childs safety with these.

I was very skeptical when buying these, due to the negative reviews, especially the videos that show how easy it is to pull the wire screw out of the insert. However, Ive tested these myself now, and every one of them in the package are perfect. After tightening the threads into the insert, there is no way to pull these apart by brute strength. I should know. I do CrossFit. Theyve apparently fixed the issues, so the threads are now properly sized to the insert. Ive installed these to prevent book shelves from falling over onto our 18 month old, and I definitely trust and rely on these, and have no concerns with failure. In fact, the wires are long enough that I was also able to double them up, since the mounts were close enough to the wall that I didnt need too much slack in the wire. These are easy to install, I am unable to break or strip them, and I would buy more if/when I needed them.
