I installed a few garage cabinets and at 5-feet tall they need to be anchored. These anchors were made of metal and fit the bill just in case and seem sturdy enough, though I havent tested them to their limit and just pulled on them to check strength. I can only hope they live up to their description. Not going to need all 400 lbs. of strength, but they seem they would easily keep my cabinets from tumbling.

Did not appreciate being shorted on a number of anchors for something that is purchased to protect your child. In order to return they want me to send back and drop off which is impossible to do with a little one. Wish I got the right thing in the first place

I installed six of these today, very easy to do. A suggestion when you are mounting the brackets: Mount the one on the wall first, then before you screw the other one to your bookshelf, put the cable through both brackets. Then you can just move the shelf bracket around until you get the right tension on the cable. Also, a good way to find the wall stud is to put a magnet in a plastic bag and try to find one of the drywall nails. Once you find it, mark the spot where you will drill the hole. Dont leave the magnet on the wall once you find the stud. My magnet slipped off the wall as I was banging around and dropped behind the shelf, grrrr :-(

Box was previously opened and taped with what appears to be duct tape. Also parts were missing, little bags torn open, and there were extra parts in the box that didn’t belong, like different size/color screws and drywall anchors. Clearly a previous customer return gone wrong. Should have checked the box before re-shipping.

These were easy to install and work perfectly

Make sure that you check the cables before installing. Inspect and test to make sure that they are made properly and will not pull apart where the connectors are crimped onto the wires. There were two defective cables in the set I bought. I was able to pull one off the connector by hand and can tell that another was poorly secured. This is dangerous and with poor quality control.
