Greater than one weekEverything you need (except tools screwdriver/drill) comes in the box. Pieces are organized in small bags which is helpful during installation. I wrapped the wire twice to have furniture closer to the wall. Seems sturdy now.

> 3 dayMy husband purchased and installed this furniture anchor to secure a dresser in my toddlers room. To test it out I pulled using my fingers and the lock slipped out. The wire is sturdy but the locking mechanism separates with a little bit of pressure. We tried resetting it and tightening it, but the same results.
