I purchased this one due to the openings on the back of the neck. Some only have them on the sides. I thought the air blowing on the back of the neck would be a great bonus over other brands/styles. I also liked that the angle seemed to be better to actually blow towards the face verse just straight up. Unfortunately, even on high you dont really feel the air on the back of the neck. All the air is blown out the closer holes, and it doesnt make it back far enough to reach the rear ones. The angle it blows onto the neck to great though. It can be loud depending on the setting you use this, and hearing is impacted.

GAIATOP Portable Neck Fan, Rechargeable Hands Free Bladeless Portable Mini Fan. I have been dealing with hot flashes for over 10 years and I rely heavily on use of fans. This wearable personal fan is a life saver. One of my biggest pet peeves is that I will have a hot flash after doing hair/makeup and suddenly I look like I went through a rainstorm. This prevented/stopped it in its tracks. I will wear this on low during times when I expect a hot flash, and most of the time that alone prevents it. For the few that manage to sneak by, I will adjust the speed to medium and the hot flash passes without my makeup melting and my hair becoming wet. I live in the South so I will also be trying this out when I go to outdoor concerts, etc. It has the benefit of looking like a pair of over the ears headphones when it is around your neck. I like that look better than the handheld type on a lanyard.

Too bad it grabs my hair sometimes. Back of the head hairs slip out my pony tail and into the fan and its not the vibe. But it still works and I can give it to my manz

OMG .. wish I had known about this before. I am a roller skating coach that sweats so badly as our rink is not always air conditioned. I also have those age related sweat issues. My head has been soaked, my shirt soaked and a cooling cloth wrapped around my neck. But one of my skating parents showed me her neck cooler and I was sold. I not only purchased this but mistakenly, the next day, purchased one that I thought was the same but was not. This has SAVED MY LIFE! It has a 3 hour charge limit and if I should ever get the time to look at instructions I might even find you can use a battery. Meanwhile, I cant begin to tell you how wonderful this fan is!!!!!

The fan did not blow strong at all. The company contacted me to see how the product was. The then got me my money back quickly.
