> 3 dayI bought this as an early birthday present for myself. Ive worn the fenix5x and 6x for the last several years. I wanted to mix it up and try solar. After a few ten mile runs, I really love this watch. I have to say that I prefer the weight and the feel of the heavier fenix for everyday wear and some activities... but, the Forerunner 955 feels right on long runs. It has upgraded features, same 1.3 screen with the lighter weight and slimmer strap. When used with the HRM HR monitor, it gives you tons of data, including power. Definitely a great alternative to the fenix without losing any features.

> 3 dayGreat upgrade from my FR 925! Solar does help with battery life but it will not replace the charging (at least not here in Canada in the Winter, perhaps in sunnier countries it might.
