My Garmin 955 has been an incredible asset for improving my health, montoring my well being and allowing me to customize the data and information I want to get at my arm for viewing. My running and biking reports are wonderfully helpful and sharing the information for friends and relatives has been a lovely social benefit.

Love this watch, bummed Ive not been using Garmin products all this while. this watch is stellar

I bought the 955 as an upgrade to the FR 245. I like the larger screen of the 955, some of the new software features like HRV and stamina, the improved sleep tracking, the improved GPS, and added sensors. But my biggest complaint is that I am seeing battery life similar to my FR 245. The 955 basically promises double the battery life of the 245 and that is not what I am seeing in my daily use. Also, while the solar function seems nice on paper, I dont think I see any difference in battery life because of it. Unless you are going to be out in direct sun all day, consider skipping the solar option.
