I love this thing. It is not an Introductory Garmin, and the learning curve has been steep, but luckily I did not want to start with a stripped down watch. The sleep tracking has been super interesting, and the suggested runs have felt right on target with my understanding of where I should be in my training as well as how my body is feeling. I am *impressed.*

I have all the data I need during my run, precisely and clearly.

I’ve been a huge fan of Garmin for many years. First Garmin was the Forerunner 245 several years ago. In between tried the competition (Withings, Polar) but wasn’t satisfied as they were either lacking in terms of complete overall package or the ecosystem wasn’t as well rounded. Started to get back in more active lifestyle and the integration of Garmin connect with more 3rd party apps (Strava, Zwift), I started to look to return to Garmin.

After spending a couple of weeks reading reviews I ended up deciding on he Garmin 955 over an Apple Watch. For the first few days i was enjoying the experience of looking at all the data it collects. I must say it is a really nice overall experience with monitoring HR, sleep, stress, running and biking sessions but it is definitely not built for strength workouts.

I upgraded from a VIVOACTIVE 3 because I am running a 100 mile race and need ultra long battery life. I wanted to keep the lightweight feel but want all the important things for an amateur, yet dedicated runner...including playing music. It dies everything I want. Cant say enough good things about it for the price.

The whatch is amazing!! The problem is it fails when it could not fail! EVERYTIME Is go running and listening to music, It turns off midtrain and when it comes back, it doesnt have the music app. If I want to listen to music then, Is must turn it off and on again and restart the workout. Then it works for 5 or 10 min and crashes again.
