Garmin Elastic strap for Heart Rate Monitor replacement, Standard Packaging

After 4 years of using my garmin 305, my HRM strap just wouldnt stay put. It would move often and within a few minutes, always ended up on my abdomen. I looked at the strap and it was as curly as bacon, and not as tasty. There was no elasticity left! I ordered a new strap and my HRM was back in business. It was very easy to put the new strap on and comparing the new strap to the old, it was obvious that I needed a replacement. And kudos to garmin for keeping the expensive HRM separate from the elastic strap, making it relatively inexpensive to replace the strap. My only dissapointment with the product is that it does indeed wear out and need to be replaced. I learned that I got a bit more time out of my strap than most, but it would be nice to have a superior product which lasts longer.

On time delivery. New as advertised. But, not worth 5 stars for a small item like this. I would never give it a 5. Not because its not right, but because it is nor worth getting that excited about.

Perfect. Its an exact replacement for my old one. I think the Ant+ heart rate monitors are far better than all the bluetooth ones out there now...mostly because they are smaller and the batteries last forever. Anyway, this strap made my HRM just like new again!

I seem to go through these bands about once a year. For whatever reason the elastic stretches and after tightening up to the smallest setting I am forced to replace the strap. They perform well, however I would like them to last a little longer.

After a few years, these bands lose their elasticity and really... just get nasty from all the sweat no matter how much you rinse it off. New band fit my HRM perfectly, and no more slipping down to my stomach while biking.

I actually took a chance with this strap knowing it was for a Garmin. My TIMEX HRM had a similar-looking strap and I thought it might work as a replacement. Well, it was pretty darn close and it actually fits well. The Timex HRM was the model 1440 Sports which Ive had for years.

Works great, perfect fit, I would order this again as it is an exact match, just like OEM. Replaces original equipment.

The extra strap was a smart idea. User one while over is cleaned and drying. Also, comfortable and adjustable to my size.
