> 24 hourI have decided to buy this because I didnt want to take risks on my travel from Miami to Canary Islands, Spain. Well, the front desk person at the airport face was not so comfortable with the dimensions, but she told me to put the case in the measurer for carry ons, incredibly it fitted both thickness and wide, but was about 6 over in height, this was not taken seriously by the staff and they let me go to the cabin. Another good thing is it fits perfectly on the upper compartments, so nothing happened when I landed in Lisboa, Portugal and then took my second plane to Tenerife, the iMac came to the new home immaculate as always, and I am here working with my favorite computer, the investment is 10% of the cost of buying a new computer, because knew selling this one where I am writing now would get me no more than $500 on average... Cons: nothing but the fact in my situation I probably would never travel with that computer again, so the protective case was useful only one time and no more ever. Pros: If you want to travel peace of mind that your iMac is extraordinary safe, buy this!

> 24 hourIts a quality case, but $220 is just way too much for this thing, especially for a soft case. Its almost as expensive as a hard pelican case! I bought this out of necessity because I was tired of repacking my iMac into its box when traveling around. I had hoped this case we more compact and tight, but not so much. Its cushioned a little bit for setting in a trunk but wouldnt feel very safe setting much on top of it or checking it on an airplane. Every time I use it I wonder if I should have just paid the extra money to get a hard case, then at least id have that option. Id say if this thing was $75-100 less Id be content, I just keep cringing at that $220 price tag and dont feel wonderful about this purchase.

> 24 hourI bought this bag because I sometimes have to take my 27 iMac to site. Its made well, the computer fits perfectly, and it has compartments for all accessories. The weight is still a lot to put on your shoulder though for any length of time even with the padded strap.

> 24 hourWorked great on flights. The 24” iMac size fit in the overhead. I did not test it out as a checked bag because I was too worried and didn’t want to risk it, but worked great as a checked back, lots of storage, padding was sufficient in case for no problems. Not sure how it holds up over time yet but worked great so far

> 24 hourThis seems like a perfect carrying case for newer than 2013 iMacs with the thin edge bezel and no CD drive. But Gator Case claims this fits 09 and newer iMacs. Unfortunately, they dont without user modifications. The small foam blocks that they provide to support the monitor in the case only accept thin bezel iMac displays. 2009-2012 iMacs are almost an inch thick at the base and this will cause the entire unit to rock out of place inside the bag. Id cut the foam to make it fit, but the fabric sewn around the foam block is too form-fitting to work. To top it all off, when I called Gator case, their customer service rep didnt even know that they sold these cases. Waiting for tech/customer support was non-existent, and now Im trying to determine if I should send this back and use the original iMac carrying case, or try the iLugger. As I said, it was a nice case. I wanted to use it, but trying to simply get customer support to explain how someone should pack a 2009-2012 27 iMac into this case only left to disappoint. And to top it off, the blocks do not suspend the iMac base off the bottom of the case. So if someone sets this on the floor too hard it may destroy your hinge join or cause and SSD mounted drive to come loose inside. (I wish they would have included two more foam blocks to fit the previous models).

> 24 hourSo glad I got this case! Ive been traveling with a 27 Mac regularly for the past 9 years and the original box wore out about 5 years ago. (Handle broke off) Not to mention, the box was a pain to put the computer in and out of. This is exactly what I was hoping for! It seems to be much sturdier than the other similar cases and I have no fear that any damage will happen as long as Im using it on the ground. I would not take this flying because youd have to check it (unless you have the smaller sized mac and can carry it on) and it would be smashed to pieces since it is soft-sided, but it does hold its shape and has thick padding for lighter types of travel. I also love that it protects my keyboard and mouse as Ive broken 2 keyboards in transit so far. Its simple and easy to carry by the handle even though Im not very strong or tall.

> 24 hourThis bag provided good protection and mobility for my Mac. I traveled from coast-to-coast by car and wanted to have my Mac with me. The bag accommodated a well-stocked mobile office.

> 24 hourThis bag rocks. I’m a designer and can work on a small screen. So I’ve been traveling with my 27” Apple Thunderbolt Display now on 3 different work trips (6 flights) and it has help up brilliantly. The bag weighs about 43 lbs with some added socks and a few articles of clothing for cushion. I also purchased an ikea AXAG pillow for $3 to cushion any hard blows even further. So far no issues what so ever. The back held up well. The only caveat is if you have long legs your foot will hit the bag every-time you take a step.
