> 3 dayThe bottles were nice, solid and a good amber color. The caps sealed nicely as well, with two exceptions. Out of the 12, two caps cracked and became unusable when trying to close the bottles. I definitely did not put any more force into these than I did the others. In fact, after the first broke, I put less force onto the rest, but one more still broke. Decent bottles, but beware if you need exactly 12 bottles that you may not end up with that many.

> 3 dayThe tops are not good. Liquid still leaks after tightening them. You must make sure when traveling with them that they don’t spill over

> 3 dayBought these bottles because Im making homemade extracts (Vanilla, Almond and Lemon) and amber glass is better than clear bottles as it keeps more light out. Couldnt be happier with this product. The glass feels sturdy and safe, feels heavier if that makes sense, not like cheap, thin glass. The amber shade is dark enough to keep light out but if you hold up to your kitchen lights you can see in it. Screw top bottle cap is a def. plus for me for preparation of extracts, etc. so there is no leakage or spillage. Good product!

> 3 dayThey don’t have individual protection (bubble plastic) that makes them more susceptible to get damaged. I’m glad it was only one that broke and Amazon costumer service was AWESOME!

> 3 dayNormally if a product is no good, you return it or throw it in the garbage. But this is a container. Thus if this type of product fails, or is defective, it has the potential to not only be a loss of the $20ish dollars you paid for these bottles but also a loss of whatever you tried to store within. My first complaint is the poor seal created between the lids and bottles. About 10-20% of the lids do not fit properly. I suspect the seam of the glass bottle is the root cause, as its much more prominent on some defective bottles. When you try to tighten them down, they feel crunchy, abrasive. Whats happening is the soft black and clear plastic is shredding as it grinds on the glass seam. Furthermore, on the ones that seem smooth you will also find shreds of plastic. They will just be smaller. I invite anyone who has purchased these to test this by opening and tightly closing the bottles several times. Then wipe the threads with a paper towel and you will find little black and clear particles. Attached are my two most defective bottles from my case of 12. But IMO they all are defective and unsafe for many uses. GBO needs to stop being so cheap in their manufacturing.
