Greater than one weekUse with alexa with no issues, dims lights well and works very quickly via alexa. And one of the easiest set ups without needing to download more crap apps!

> 3 dayThis product is great. I use it to adjust the brightness of string lights I have around my living room and it easily controllable with my Echo or the Alexa app on my phone. I had originally purchased a different brand of dimmer plug and it was a nightmare. I returned it and bought this item and it was so much better. I was able to get it set up easily on the first try and it has operated perfectly since.

> 3 dayI bought this to replace some old X10 dimmer plugs that I have connected to 100W equivalent LED bulbs (Philips). The X-10 module dims the bulb perfectly, but this does not. If I command this to dim the bulb I get flickering or nothing. Very disappointing since it says it works with dimmable LED bulbs and the bulbs do dim correctly with the old cheap X10 powerline communicating units I am trying to phase out. I them found out it couldnt do two 100 watt equivalent led bulbs but it is working with one. Why it didnt work initially with the one 100 watt equivalent across the room I dont know. Kind of annoyed I need one for each fixture, but they are fine now.

> 3 dayTried two of these GE plugs with the same results. They connected with Smartthings easily, but would not completely turn off LED lights, leaving them with a dim glow. Returned both and purchased Leviton DZPD3-2BW Decora Smart Plug-in Dimmer with Z-Wave which work great with LED lights.

Greater than one weekGives off a buzzing noise in my lamp, even when I dont have this set to be dimming at all. If the lamp is just plugged into a wall outlet normally, there is no noise.

Greater than one weekThe GE Plug-in smart dimmer is exactly what I was looking for: an easy way to use existing or specialty bulbs (such as incandescent or LED based Edison style bulbs) alongside the rest of my connected bulbs using the Philips Hue bridge (its all ZigBee, it should work!). After cycling through every single wireless channel with attempted touch link and force pairings (even resetting the GE dimmer to factory defaults and trying again), I couldnt get it to link up to my system. Upon further research, I discovered the GE dimmer uses the Zigbee Home Automation protocol (version 1.2), while the Philips Hue system is only compatible with ZigBee Light Link (not sure what version). It is simply not compatible unless Philips upgrades their system to ZigBee 3.0 and implements the combined ZHA+ZLL protocol. I hear the hardware is compatible, its just up to them if they want to or not...and given their current stance on third party expansion, it seems unlikely to happen. Philips Hue users: look elsewhere, this wont work for you. Everyone else: no idea if itll work or not. Three stars for a lost evening of futile troubleshooting and poor clarity regarding what ZigBee compatible actually means.

> 3 dayDid not work properly with my HAI / Leviton Zigbee 3.0 81A00-3 hub. It would send the proper on & off statuses back to the hub when I pressed the manual button on the device, but it would not accept on & off commands from the hub so no remote control, which is what I purchased it for! Got Levitons plug in Zigbee module and was up and running in 3 minutes. All on and all off still didnt work with my Omni IIe, but you can fix that by adding a programming line when all off turn all 16 Zigbee modules off. This GE module is going back to Amazon!
