Geeni Switch Duo Double Smart Plug, White, 2 Outlets – No Hub Compatible with Alexa and Google Assistant, Requires 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi

Geeni devices have always been one of my go-to things, and this fits in like the rest of them. This is a smart plug that is about 1.5x bigger than the standard smart plug. For this compromise in size, you gain the ability to control 2 devices in one receptacle. Thankfully, this plug gets bigger on the sides, so it will not block you from plugging another device into the other receptacle, which I appreciate. You can use the app to control both devices independently, set a timer for on/off, and set a scheduled time to toggle each outlet. The button on the physical plug will either turn both off, or both on, regardless of the state of either plug. This means if one side is on, and the other is off, the physical button will power both sides off. It has an LED indicator for each side so you know when they are on or off. You can sync this with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant which is what I did. Once in there, I setup routines to toggle when it is being turned on. Functionality with those services gave no issue on my end. When you have this in Google Assistant, it shows up as 3 devices. Side 1, Side 2, and Both together. It should be noted that just because there are 2x the outlets here, does not mean that you can do more powerful things. Treat this as in terms of power output as you would a single smart plug. You should not plug 2 high powered devices into this. It has a max of 1875W combined between the two outlets. I am personally using this to power small devices in my work room such as household fans. Overall this is a win-win device for me and I will get another next time I need a smart plug because it will turn 2 outlet receptacles into a 4 outlet space.

I love the fact i can turn off each outlet individually and it works great with my Alexa. It was simple to set up and i trust the brand since i have used their other smart products over the years and they always work great.

I love my Geeni products and this is no different. I have yet to run into a Geeni or Merkury product that hasnt worked for our family and the app. We ordered this to separate 2 lights we have in the house. We have LED Xmas lights over our internal archway just because...well we love Xmas and are too lazy to take them down. The other is a homemade lamp with our names on it and when we moved into this house. Its really a nice night light. For the night light, we have a scheduled timer on it through the app and it turns on the light at 9PM and off at 6AM. What else can I say but it works. I have labeled the Xmas lights as the Archway Lights and I can use the app just to push the power button on those lights or I can say Hey Google, turn on Archway Lights and bam within a second or two, theyre on. As for manually turning on or off the device, there is a power button on the plug, but it will turn on and off both devices. Unless I am overlooking it, not sure if there is a way to turn only one on at a time. Also in the app where it lists all your devices, if you push the power button there, it will turn on both devices. To turn each one on individually, you need to tap on the device (not the power button), and when it loads, you will then see 2 power buttons you can individually name and set schedules and timers for. Our house now has 14 smart lights, 4 smart plugs (all different models), and 2 smart string lights (about to be a 3rd). I stand behind Geenis products and will keep doing so. Besides not sure if I can turn on the devices on individually through the manual button, I love this. Until they do me wrong, I will recommend every Geeni product I own from them. I LOVE these geeni smart plugs! I have several throughout my house. I am very conscious about my energy use since Hawaii is notorious for the most expensive rates. This allows me to leave things such as lamps plugged in, but have the switch off. I can also schedule timers or schedules which is a wonderful feature. I usually get home when it’s dark and even at dusk, my entryway is pretty dark. So I have a timer set for my little lamp and it switches on for about an hour, then switches off. These plugs also work with Alexa for voice control but I typically use the app or rely on the timers. I will continue to use these switches, they’re convenient, energy efficient and have fantastic features for smart home.

I love Geenis outlets and was excited to get these. Theyre easy to set up and connect to the app; you can set schedules and timers within the app itself. These are one of the best smart products out there!

Product features are fantastic with Alexa. Very easy to set up and use. The timer function is also nice so you can set up lights to turn off/on at specific times. Great for when away from the home.

Not sure what’s wrong as all their other outlets work great. This one kept disconnecting every 3rd day.

Glad it offers an extra plug outlet. However, I had difficulty connecting it to Wi-Fi.

I have purchased 4 Geeni Wi-Fi devices and really like the ease of set up. They are controlling several lights inside and outside my home. I will by more in the future.

Set up was easy and integration was flawless, appreciate that you can activate both or single outlets on it
