Genius Baby Toys Black, White & Red Activity 3D Playmat & Gym

Got it though my baby registry by advice of a friend. My son loves his mat. We washed it in cold water and colors stayed as bright as before.

Can slide so arching bar is to either side of gym. Great for baby to practice tummy time and side laying! Black and whites/high contrast most stimulating for infants. I flipped matt over to plain red side. Babies before 3 months old can get over stimulated easily. Like that its very portable.

Kept my 2 month old attention really well. Only complaint is the musical panda bear quality is horrible.

This is not something I would have normally selected, but my newborn had laser eye surgery for ROP, so we want to provide him with as much necessary stimulation as possibly blue. He does well on the mat and has lots of high contrast images to look at while doing tummy time. The beetle juice-esque pattern has also grown on me too.

Loved the color scheme of this playmat and so does the baby! She kicks and coos when she is laying on it. It is just the right size, simple, and comfortable. I was surprised that others complained about the colors running when washed. I have already washed mine twice-cold water, light cycle, with Dreft, and it came out fine. I also ran it through the dryer.

I chose this for the color combination, but the quality is half as good as the skip hop, that is the same price.

My lil one loves this! Since 2 months and he is still loving it at 6 months.

I was scared to wash it when I first got it after reading some if the reviews saying it bleeds so I have been using a blanket for my daughter to lay on top of when shes in it. I will have to hope it doesnt bleed when I finally wash it so that she can use it for tummy time. It was pretty expensive for what youre getting but its still kind of hard to find black and white contrast baby stuff so I splurged. Setting it up is pretty simple but I feel like it could definitely have been made better. Its pretty flimsy and I think the loops to connect the rods may be too big allowing it to be wobbly. I also think its ok to use for my newborn but the toys hang too low and if your baby has enough muscle control then they would be able to pull the toys (and the rods they hang from) down onto them with no problem!

This is the best toy you can buy for a newborn. The red and black colors are adapted to their vision. I buy this for every newborn I know. It just keeps them engaged for hours.
