Grandson loves this. It keeps him occupied for about 15 minutes. Thats good for a 6 week old.

I bought this for use in my home child care because of the color scheme, hoping to provide visual stimulation for a new infant. It works great for this little 3 mo. old - he enjoys gazing at it for fairly long periods of time, 10-20 minutes at a time. At that age, visual entertainment is important both for their development and also to keep them engaged and happy. This fits the bill, glad I got it.

Our baby has been using this activity center since 6 weeks old. Shes 5 months and still gets a kick out of it while doing her tummy time on it.

My 1 month old absolutely adores this playmat. She was intrigued by it at 2 weeks old and now can spend up to 30 minutes hitting the toys and observing all the patterns. The only reason I took one star off is because the material on the mat is pretty rough so its not ideal for tummy time.

I have a preemie born a 27 weeker. I got this to help with her eyes and other developmental skills and she absolutely loves it! Everything catches her eyes and she focuses on all the lines, dots and colors. Definetly recommend. (:

I was scared to wash it when I first got it after reading some if the reviews saying it bleeds so I have been using a blanket for my daughter to lay on top of when shes in it. I will have to hope it doesnt bleed when I finally wash it so that she can use it for tummy time. It was pretty expensive for what youre getting but its still kind of hard to find black and white contrast baby stuff so I splurged. Setting it up is pretty simple but I feel like it could definitely have been made better. Its pretty flimsy and I think the loops to connect the rods may be too big allowing it to be wobbly. I also think its ok to use for my newborn but the toys hang too low and if your baby has enough muscle control then they would be able to pull the toys (and the rods they hang from) down onto them with no problem!
