Genuine Honda (08E60-S9A-100) Keyless Entry Unit

This worked perfectly for my 2003 Honda Element when the door keys messed up… again. I installed it and programmed both remotes in under 10 minutes.

2005 Honda Element did not come standard with remote keyless entry. Rather than replace failed key cylinder, install remote (for CRV). Only compatible plug on wiring harness, behind the access panel, under right of drivers side below dash. Plug-and-Play no worries for most people as long as you are patient with instructions about key positions detailed in manual.

Cross referenced the serial number on the original receiver, and it was a perfect match. All my locks were fine, but bought the car recently - NO REMOTES. So, I priced them out. With all the aftermarket ones getting negative reviews, decided to get the entire kit. For the transmitters/receiver, it didnt cost that much more.

Took twenty minutes to install into my 2004 CR-V, including the time it took to watch a YouTube installation video. All it required was a screwdriver, pocket knife, and a flashlight. Worth getting for sure.

Honda civic LX 2004 doesnt fit my car.

Perfect for a 2003 Honda Element EX with power door locks but no keyless entry option. It was a bit of a pain to program, the instructions don’t tell you the fobs won’t work until you take the key out of the ignition after programming. I sat there wondering why they wouldn’t work for a time. Overall a great OEM product.

Easy to install, and worked great for 2 weeks, but in less than a month the batteries sometimes work, sometimes not, so its always a toss up if it will unlock or not w remote. Since its on my secondary car, it isnt driven much, so couldnt have been used more than 25 times. Guess I expected more for 100 bucks. :(

Install was super easy! At first I thought there was a problem because after programming the remotes I couldnt get them to work.

Quick install on a 2004 Honda Element. Simple as unclipping wire from the old unit and plugging in the new. The mount under the dash is tooless. Would buy again.

This is a great product. It is a direct plugin for my 2003 Honda Element. The only thing I had to do was pair the key fobs with the module, which is very simple to do. No more stuck for keys!
