We use this filter every night while our sons are sleeping. It’s aggravating to have to constantly check the pricing because it changes regularly. We are about to switch purifiers if I have to pay $20 a filter now when I can get the machine for sometimes as low as under $50.

Product was as advertised. It fits great, works well in the air cleaner. The only problem was it was kind of pricey.

This filter definitely works. From dust, dander, smoke, particles in the air etc. There is no match for this unit. I would recommend a different unit if you are using this for your sleep schedule; near your bed. This is not the most quiet machine ever but it is not super loud. Right in the middle. I would consider this unit to be a Post Malone of the air scrubber world.

Not much to say about this. It goes with the air purifier I am using and it fits perfectly and does the job! I was impressed at how much dust and crap it filters out of the air, and am very thankful for it as my workplace is the worst when it comes to dust. Great product. Will be buying more as long as my air purifier works!

I went to the allergist and so I was allergic to every tree grass dust mite so I got this to help with breathing works very well

Ive been buying these for a few years now and they just changed how the black filter is made. Im not a fan of the new material at face value. It looks like a way cheaper quality material and one that Ive never seen before in any HEPA filter. Im now happy about the change so far. Im still undecided if the change has degraded the quality of the filter in general. It also makes me question whether the white filter design was also cheapened. I was pretty happy with the Gem Guardian until now. UPDATE: Ive had this new filter in for about a week now and I was shocked how much dust was already on the black filter already. Im thinking this new style filter actually filters out more than the old one does so Im increasing my rating to 4 stars now. I also washed the black part and it didnt fall apart as expected and was surprisingly easier to clean than the older one. The old design would have dust getting stuck inside the holes of the filter and Id have to wash it for a while before i could get everythign out of it. The new one seemed to clean up much easier because the holes in the filter arent as big. It cleaned up well and didnt degrade like I expected. Overall Im actually liking the new design better now.

I had my filter replaced about a year ago. Longer than the recommended. But the charcoal filter this time is a lot harder than what it was previously. Im not sure why but its noted that the charcoal filter was also a bit creased towards the top of the filter. The box was not damaged in anyways so it wouldnt be due to shipping. Maybe its due to packaging. Anyhow, the filter functions fine and theres no smell either which is great. The HEPA filter is the same as what it was previously.

Perfect for ease and does the job

I really like my table-top filter. Judging by the discoloration that happens, I would say that the filter is taking a great deal out of the air in my apartment. Between allergens and other current health threats, I am glad to have these filters cleaning much of the stuff in my air.
