It works as expected. My last filter I changed at 90 days just because of COVID-19 pandemic. It wasnt gunky dirty but there was visible dirt just from running it a few hours a day. I wanted to change it to get rid of any virus germs that could have been lingering there.

Bought these to replace the ones that came with the units. They helped reduce the odor great after smoke smell from a near by wild fire. I’d buy again for sure.

Product was as advertised. It fits great, works well in the air cleaner. The only problem was it was kind of pricey.

Very pleased with my Germ Guardian. I have to change the filter a bit more than indicated, with 6 cats, but Im pleased to report vast improvement in my pulmonary status after both getting the germ guardian, and chanking the filter at 4 months and 1 week instead of 6 months. I shall probably aim at 3 months this time. OH, I have no idea what the sheerness is in the review, but the only other thing I could do is not rate that part, and the review demands a response.

These filters last for less time than they say they are supposed to. And, the charcoal filters are not as effective as some of the other brands available. However, they do work well for about a month & 1/2. Nowhere near the 6months as stated on their product information! Ive found that it does a much better job when I use their HEPA filter with another brand of charcoal filter. If you are thinking of buying an air filter from Germguardian, Id suggest that you buy one to two sizes larger than they recommend for small rooms.

Perfect for ease and does the job

This fit my GermGuardian model AC4100 like a glove. Easy to install - simply pop off the back over, remove the old filter, pay attention to the arrows and put the cover back on. Authentic filter replacement; will purchase again.

Perfect fit just as advertised

Ive been buying these for a few years now and they just changed how the black filter is made. Im not a fan of the new material at face value. It looks like a way cheaper quality material and one that Ive never seen before in any HEPA filter. Im now happy about the change so far. Im still undecided if the change has degraded the quality of the filter in general. It also makes me question whether the white filter design was also cheapened. I was pretty happy with the Gem Guardian until now. UPDATE: Ive had this new filter in for about a week now and I was shocked how much dust was already on the black filter already. Im thinking this new style filter actually filters out more than the old one does so Im increasing my rating to 4 stars now. I also washed the black part and it didnt fall apart as expected and was surprisingly easier to clean than the older one. The old design would have dust getting stuck inside the holes of the filter and Id have to wash it for a while before i could get everythign out of it. The new one seemed to clean up much easier because the holes in the filter arent as big. It cleaned up well and didnt degrade like I expected. Overall Im actually liking the new design better now.
