pros: I love gosung, there wifi plugs are easy to connect and use. My personal use is for electric control to save money when Im away from home. Cons: only problem I have had was when the power goes out, I have to re sync a few of them.

I don’t have a smart window ac but this is great to turn off and turn on my small ac unit when I’m not home. Totally recommend for any device you might need to control while you’re not home

Purchased for an elderly grandparent in a nursing home. 20 minutes into installation attempt I learned that it will only connect to 2.4ghz Wi-Fi. The Wi-Fi in the nursing home is 5ghz. There are instructions for configuring the router, but you have to have access to it. This device is useless in this situation. Also, making it work with Alexa requires downloading the proprietary app, setting it up, and then adding a skill to your Alexa app to operate the plug. If this sounds overly complicated maybe spring for the Amazon brand plug.

Small enough that it doesnt cover the second outlet in the single gang. And I was happy to see that it was compatible with my Jinvoo Smart application where I manage my other smart plugs.

They are great once you are able to get them on 2g. The next trick is to get the Gosund app to cooperate with Alexa. Be patient, it takes a few minutes after you think you’ve done everything right for it to appear in the app v

The fact these dont fit side by side in a standard wall socket sucks. wont be buying these again

I didnt like the full access you need to give to all personal info to a powered switch to all contacts and google info, especially when no other software works with this switch. Invasive, and only mildly effective. They have access to too much info for a timer switch. It plainly says Alexa integration, but I cannot figure out how to make this work.

Love these. Easy to hook to WiFi. Used there app. Then link it to Google Home. When not at home. Set them to go off and on.

It worked perfectly for a while, I then stopped using it and had it in a drawer. A few months passed and when I tried to use it again it was dead and not working

Bought two sets (8 plugs) six connected right away but two malfunctioned. The two continuously.turn off and on. Check wifi, placed in different places but the two just keep malfunctioning. Very disappointed.
