Got this for my daughter to carry on our NYC trip and she loved it!

This umbrella inverted with the first gust of wind. It is lightweight and compact, but did not work for me on a windy day.

This is a terrible umbrella. It was described to not turn inside out in the wind. This is absolutely not true. With the slightest wind it turns inside out. I bought this umbrella to use in London. I was soaked and wind blown each day it rained. The reviews that stated it is difficult to close are absolutely true. I had to push it against a table to get it to lock. When I tried to just leave it extended but not but not open, it would not reopen unless it was pushed into the locked position. I hardly ever write reviews but this umbrella was absolutely frustrating!

The umbrella is compact and extremely sturdy.

This is the right size umbrella for my grand daughter, it opened fine for her but closing it was a challenge. I got it to close it and it difficult for me as well. Then I placed it on the ground and pushed down on it and it closed.
