Measures 9.25 not 8.5 as it states in description. Defeats the purpose of a mini travel umbrella. Only 2 shorter than my full size umbrella. Feels heavy and bulky for in a purse. Sending it back. Never took it out of the package so I cant comment on the quality.

Negatives: Hard to close completely due to having to push the handle in. Its so hard to do that it slipped from my hand and hit me in the chin. Also, some of the spine tines inside the umbrella are made of plastic, not all metal. Positives: It is small and does automatically open and close which I like, but I just dont feel its safe for me.

The design was very cute, and my daughter loved that, but it was very difficult for her (and anyone else who tried) to close, and it fell apart in less than 6 months with only a handful of uses. Disappointed.

Im so glad I spent a few dollars more for auto-open and - close.

Worked really well in recent daily torrential downpours. Opened and closed automatically. Only complaint would be the handle is really stiff to push back in.

Opening the umbrella exhibits a plethora of bright flowers. Perfect for brightening a rainy day.

I bought this for my 8 year old so he can keep one in his backpack. This umbrella (while very pretty and seems sturdy) is so super heavy that it would weigh his backpack down. In addition, I had a difficult time closing it so I had him try ans there is absolutely no way he can use this as his backpack umbrella. We will keep it for him to use while I’m with him so I can close it thereby defeating the purpose of why I purchased it.

Fits in my handbag so it is always with me.
