Gorilla Waterproof Caulk & Seal 100% Silicone Sealant, 10oz Cartridge, Clear (Pack of 1)

Went down easily using a caulk gun. I would have loved some instruction on how to get it off my finger after I made the mistake of smoothing it without a glove. Just in case you need to get it off, soap, mouthwash, alcohol and nail polish remover weren’t successful. I think I finally got it off by pouring a little bourbon on it. Desperate measures...

Kitchen sank repair worked great

I moved into a new house and the window sill by my bed was coming apart from the wall. there was a large gap across (its actually 2 windows right next to each other). I bought a different brand of caulk first, which worked well but I needed more than one tube so I bought this one. This one had a very strong chemical smell. I kept the windows open and it took about 2 days to clear the smell out. The previous one had a smell but it was very faint and went away as soon as I was done. However the caulk worked perfectly so still 5 stars.

Cut off tip a checked. Hole looked good but caulk would not come out. Enlarged and still no caulk inserted wire into tip. Wire broke through the blockage, afterward flowed hit and miss.

READ BEFORE USING!!! Seems to work GREAT BUT setting time is so fast you have to be prepared for it. Can not do too large of a line or you won’t have time to go over it with a finishing sealing trowel.

Its a nice product that have shown what it can do once its dried longer than 30 minutes. Saturday I used this sealant to chaulk my windows and doors. It was around 42°F when I had done it. It had started to rain around 4 hours after. The next day was around 47°F. I checked the sealant to see if any cracks were present. Ran my finger on the sealant to find out it hadnt completely set. Watery sealant on my finger. Sorry, dont trust the Thirty Minute Rule. So today I applied it on the back side of the house with 61° with sun/no clouds. Will check tomorrow if all is well.

So let me start by saying this product does work BUT! Part of the reason I got this was because I had ants coming through cracks this stuff attracts them like nobodies business they were basically coming through the cracks by the loads and eating the silicone I never even knew ants like this stuff this much I ended up making some borax traps to kill their nest and resealing the cracks and they were getting through. So if your problem is ants I will tell you to take care of the nest and make sure you completely seal everything or they’re just gonna eat away perhaps mixing in a little borax with the silicone will help.

I like the product. It worked great. I used it on a litterbox enclosure. 90% of the tube is wasted because it breaks and the bottom pops out. It never came out of the nice hole I made in the tip. I was able to spoon out and apply what I needed but there was no way to salvage the tube. Maybe next time I will try to find it in something like a glue bottle or toothpaste tube.
