Finally got the right product as described. I needed Bluetooth capability as I dont have Internet access. But For this product to work, you must have location/gps turned on. I do have issue with this as Im a very private person and have such controls turned off to the best if my ability.

These plugs have helped me to add another level of automation to my home. I use these for appliances that dont need to be drawing power constantly but are difficult to plug/unplug due to the socket location. With the Alexa voice control I can simply tell them to turn on when needed. My favorite use for them is on my coffee bar with automation incorporated. Every morning around the time I wake up for work the plug automatically turns my Nespresso machine and milk frother on and then automatically turns off around the time I leave for work, ensuring they arent sitting on all day. The automation is super easy to set up in the Govee app.

easy to set up and use. i put them in my bathroom since my hair straightener doesn’t have an automatic shutoff. you can set a timer for them to turn on or off, and you also can control from your phone if you’ve already left the house. you can control each of the 4 outlets separately. def worth it!

This is probably the best most convenient way for me to schedule the lights for my reptiles. Govee is really good.

At nearly the one year of ownership mark, all 4 plugs stopped working. Nothing has changed with my WiFi settings, placement of plugs, etc. They just will not work no matter what I do to re-pair them. Warranty claim submitted...lets see if this manufacturer will replace under their terms and conditions. Ill update when I hear back. UPDATE: Well, Ill give them a ton of credit. They got back to me very quickly. Their response... My sincere apologies for the inconvenience. Our tech team found the IoT Services have been down, affecting all Wi-Fi-related app features. As a result, your devices might not be working correctly. At this moment, we are working diligently to fix the issue. If theres a problem as stated, why not notify me in the app, too? Just a thought, of course... They fixed the problem but Im dismayed at the communication. They have a hidden message board in the app that controls these plugs. Thats where the outage was divulged. I would think that would be a banner in the app, something more apparent.

Love these smart switches. I have one on the TV/Nintendo switch that is only on for the hours my husband is home, and another in my boys room that turns their night lights on at bedtime and turns them off a few hours later. Super easy to set up. A little unsure of the company itself and having an app on my phone, but overall choosing convenience at this point.

I love these! Install the app. Connect it to your alexa app. And my echo dot (5th gen) can turn them on and off for me! Especially when I dont want to move the couch to unplug something. Its so nice. I feel spoiled having these.
