Gran Turismo 6

Gran Turismo and Forza both have their ups and down. I have both systems and they are both great for drifting, racing, drag, and good racing communitys.

This game starts you out driving a Toyota Yaris and Ive since upgraded to a Ford Focus after running about 20 races. If I want to drive a FordFocus or a Toyota Yaris, I can go to my local car rental place and drive one. I dont buy video games to drive lame cars. I gave the game two stars because the graphics are really nice and there are a ton of cars to unlock after many, many hours of playing that I will not be investing.

I thought that I would be disappointed in this game as it looked like the same game as GT6. I rented the game and now I will never let it go. Physics are a huge upgrade. Feels so real its scary. Awesome game.

Ive played GT4, and GT5, and really enjoy the improvements to GT6. They are very noticeable, and really push the PS3 to its processing limits. The car and track selection is immense, and the campaign and online play is very engaging. What Ive always enjoyed about the GT series is how it helps develop an appreciation for cool cars and great driving. You even get some missions driving the Lunar Rover on the Moon. The only downside, and this is minor considering how great the game is overall, is the wait time when loading a race. Restarts arent bad, but the initial track load can tack 30 sec or so. I can deal with that, and Ive had a great time enjoying this game. Online play is fun, as you can always find a lobby with racing suited to your liking. Drag racing and drifting seem to be popular, with many other races and styles always available. Users can create three rooms with track and racing settings to save for quick use. Get yourself a Logitech G27 wheel, or in my case, grab the Logitech Momo wheel, and get your race on.

I love the GT series, but maybe Im just getting too old.

This game soo fun. I bought the Logitech g27 wheel to play with this game. Theres no better racing/driving simulator that beats GT6 -- simply amazing. the physics, the graphics, the easy customization of the cars. Simply an overall very fun experience.
