GRAYL GeoPress Replacement Filter & Purifier Cartridge (Black)

I got this filters to replace the original one we had for our Grayl Geopress bottle. We used it for a trip overseas and were pleased with the results. We like the size, which while big to pack is wonderful to have full to drink. We actually have no way of knowing if it did its job, but are trusting that it does. I rated it only 4 starts on ease of using because I couldnt push the device down when the water was in the bottle to filter it. My husband had to do that for us, but we are older and my hands arent as strong as they use to be. A younger person would probably have no problem and it does need to be that tight! I donnt under stand what Flavor has to do with it. ??

Had to get this replacement filter because I left my bottle full of water ,and even after washing/rinsing the bottle my water had a funny taste. After replacing the filter the water tastes fine. Dont be like me and leave water sitting in your bottle, or youll need to get a replacement filter too!

First filter lasted a good 400 uses.

I absolutely love this filter. No more buying gallons in plastic jugs, makes my house water better and its my backpacking filter on trips now. Heavier than the sawyer squeeze but I trust it so much more. This replacement filter worked great

This filter works awesome. No complaints.

The only difficulty I have is with separating the cups when I want to refill or clean the bottle parts. My 74 year old hands find I need help with that. The pressing part is easy. This is a gift from my son and daughter-in-law for my birthday to take camping - a cross between tent and primitive camping as I do use some comfort items. I like the bright colors for they are easier for me to see - anytime. My next one I think will be blue. Pricey but reliable with a good safety factor. Addendum: It took five five cycles before the seals sealed. I let it sit overnight in pieces and this morning it seems to work properly. The next few days will tell me for sure if this particular cup system is reliable. I tried videoing the the run overs but by myself I was not successful. I have had a geopress for over a year now and absolutely love it. Its an amazing product and definitely worth every penny. Grayl is also an amazing company. I recently bought a replacement filter for my geopress and had an issue with it so I contacted their customer support and informed them of the problem I was having. Not only did they get back to me in immediately the person that was helping me gave me help troubleshooting the problem to include personally making a video with instructions and a few tips to help me work through the issues. I am thoroughly impressed with their products and their customer support.
