GRAYL GeoPress Replacement Filter & Purifier Cartridge (Black)

Bought a geopress and spare filter, It pay to have a spare.

I like how easy it is to use.

Did a 3 night canoe trip down the namekagon river in northern WI, brought this with and didnt have any issues. Used it for drinking during the day and cooking at night, no stomach issues during or after the trip. Seems to work great, cant ask for more. Pushing water through the filter is a bit of a chore but not overly so.

If you want the best filtration in the easiest and most convenient system on the market, Grayl is it in my opinion. Once you find it difficult to press your Grayl (10 seconds or more) to filter water, you will soon need a new filter cartridge. I have gotten varied results with filter life with variable being the quality of water filtered. If you pre-filter your water with a millbank bag or strainer of cotton cloth, you will definitely extend the life of the filter cartridge. If you regularly filter turbid water with lots of silt and particulates, it with definitely shorten the life of the cartridge. I like to always keep one or more on hand at home for when they start getting hard to press.

This is the next replacement for my new Grayl water filter. I probably will not open and use this item for 1 1/2 to 2 years. Im thrilled with the original, so expect to be with this one also.

I keep my GeoPress with me always..Since getting this, I no longer have to worry if the water is okay to drink or buy water in plastic bottles which is a pollutant.

Better to have the next in line ready to go. The GeoPress has become my carry everywhere water filter for speed and filtration coverage. This is my second back-up filter. I highly recommend this system.

Simple product to use. Instead of having to carry separate purifier and cup or container, its all in one. Love it!

Exact replacement. High performing filter, easy to remove and install. Nothing more to say.
