> 3 dayI dump mop buckets down the drain, clean up at a high school. Probably best for a home setting. It helped to keep the drains clear when I put in 2 every other day.

> 3 dayI had a rotten egg smell in my shower drain, that I could not get rid of, even after cleaning out everything. I used a couple of these and the next day the smell was gone. I did drop them in all the drains and toilet tanks in the house, I am not sure if that made a difference or not. I will continue to do this every month to avoid that nasty smell. I highly recommend this product!

> 3 dayIt’s not as good as the water one, some small sink is hard to pull it in, while the water one works perfectly.

> 3 dayWe have a 75 year old house that has chronic clogging problems in the kitchen line. The problem is in the floor drain about 25 feet out, where the kitchen/laundry line meets the main sewer line. I think the problem is that the pipes are just too narrow, and the corner at the connection is too sharp causing crud to build up and we get backups into the laundry room (basement) every few months. Weve tried EVERYTHING! Seriously, I cant even count the number of gallons of drain cleaner weve dumped down that thing. Weve tried copper sulfate and enzyme treatments... and while they all seem to help, the problem inevitably comes back. We finally purchased a sewer rod which is a tape-like snake designed for floor drains, and had just resigned ourselves to the fact that unless or until we could jack hammer out the pipe and replace it, wed just have to clear the thing manually every few months. Enter the Green Gobbler Drain Sticks. So the familiar glugging sound was starting again, and we were getting a little backup in the basement when doing laundry, so I figured it was time to try another overnight enzyme treatment - that usually helps a little. But on a lark I decided to buy some of these. I cant figure out how to get it into the sewer pipe itself since theres a sharp corner on the bypass to the floor trap that the stick would never make it around, so I just put one down the kitchen sink, and one in the laundry room sink where the washer drains, and within a week the glugging was GONE! Now, its only been 2 weeks, but I just added a new stick to the kitchen because that sink is in constant use (we cook a LOT) so I figure its probably dissolving quicker than it might with average use. Anyhow, its probably a little too soon to declare victory, so Ill report back after a few months and let you know if the results hold, but at the moment I am beyond overjoyed.

> 3 dayI can’t say how they would help unclog a drain or prevent them from clogging but I like the way they keep the drains smelling nice. I bought them to help with a drain smell coming from the laundry room washing machine drain. So far they help but I’m not sure if they stay in the drain after I run loads of laundry I think the force of that much water pushes them down the drain. So my routine is to drop one in after I’m done doing the laundry and it keeps the drain smelling fresh between laundry days. Prior to using these a sewer gas smell would be present a day or so after laundry day and would last until the next laundry drain when the drains could be flushed with water from the washing machine.

> 3 dayPlease see attached photo. This is a comparison of two brands of enzyme sticks. The issue with the Bio-Flow enzyme stick is that it immediately begins to expand when placed in water. This expansion clogs the drain, defeating the purpose of using an enzyme stick. In comparison, the Sani-Stick 360 does not expand, not clogging the drain. After only 48 hours the Bio-Flow stick has expanded to 4 times the original size, and becomes very soft and mushy – much like the clogs that you may be trying to prevent. After a week, the Bio-Flow stick is reduced to a sort of blob. I can only assume that, because of the expansion (and loss of color), the Bio-Flow sticks do not retain the clog-fighting enzyme. After a few days, they also completely lose their color, unlike the Sani-Stick 360. After each month, the drain with the Bio-Flow stick was obstructed with a blob that was once a stick. The Sani-Stick 360 maintains its form, not further blocking the drain (although it is very soft after a month). The Sani-Stick 360 does a great job of preventing unwanted build-up, when replace monthly. The Bio-Flow immediately creates unwanted blockage.

> 3 dayMy only negative about this product is that my drain isn’t an open one but one metal “covering” it like a drain filter. Not sure how to describe it. So when I put one of these in there, I have to force it into the openings because it can’t just drop into the drain. Other then that, I’ve used these for about 8 months and they do exactly what they’re suppose to do. My drains have not smelled this whole time, which was an issue with standing water in the pipes. I honestly forget to check the pipes now because the smell isn’t alerting me to check them. Will continue to buy them.
