SECOND EDIT: So, I was told that I could use their Main Line Opener on my sink that the stick plugged up. Its been sitting for 8 hours. The water hasnt gone down at all. The container says 30 minutes. WORTHLESS AND HAS DONE MORE HARM THAN GOOD! ********************************************************************************************************* THIS IS MY1st EDITED REVIEW: AFTER 5 OR 6 DAYS MY BATHROOM SINK IS NOT DRAINING AT ALL. CALLED CUSTOMER SERVICE AND WAS TOLD IT TAKES 2 WEEKS TO DISSOLVE. THE WOMAN WAS NASTY ON THE PHONE AND SCREAMED IM TRYING TO HELP YOU! SHE ACTUALLY HUNG UP ON ME. SHE HAS AN ATTITUDE PROBLEM AND SHOULD BE TERMINATED!!! Called again after I was hung up on. Verified that these sticks dont completely dissolve for 2 WEEKS! I had purchased their main liner opener just to have on hand. Thought Id try that. It doesnt list the ingredients on the bottle! Had to make sure I could use it with that stick that is now plugging my drain. The second woman was nice and refunded the order. So I was correct. This stick actually plugged up my bathroom sink. NEVER BUYING THEIR PRODUCTS AGAIN AND WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE! I think the strip has helped plug up my sink. I usually use Drano when the drain on my bathroom sink starts slowing down to get rid of soap scum. This time I used one of these worthless things. My sink immediately slowed down. So then I put hot water in the sink to melt the stick. Didnt work apparently. Now its the third day and it just took my sink 20 minutes to drain. I can still see water down in the drain so it hasnt completely drained yet. Just tired of hanging out in the bathroom reading the news on my phone while timing it. Im wondering if these things get old and dont dissolve. IM VERY ANGRY!!! THIS IS WORTHLESS !!! Not sure what to do. Dont know if I can put Drano down it or not. Would that cause toxic fumes? I cant afford a plumber. Thats why I have always maintained it with Drano, which has worked for years. I also bought their Main Drain Opener | Drain Cleaner Hair Clog Remover product in case I had any problems in the future. Just trying to be prepared in case I ever have an emergency. Its still in the Amazon box and now I would be terrified to use it. Who knows what it would do? I DONT TRUST THEIR PRODUCTS!!!!

Weve used thes in our shower and bathroom sink drains for years. It helps with the yucky smells that can infiltrate the room. There was a bad review listed here that shows the homeowner laying the stick in the sink. That is not how these work! They are dropped into the drain, not left in the sink. In my opinion they are not meant to keep a drain clear but to prevent build up in a clean drain and prevent smells.

My bathroom sink smells bad. Idk why. This doesnt have a scent thats going to waft into the room but theres always a significant difference when I use them and i dont smell that sewer smell any lknger. Ive tried other brands and scented and nothing compares to these!

My only negative about this product is that my drain isn’t an open one but one metal “covering” it like a drain filter. Not sure how to describe it. So when I put one of these in there, I have to force it into the openings because it can’t just drop into the drain. Other then that, I’ve used these for about 8 months and they do exactly what they’re suppose to do. My drains have not smelled this whole time, which was an issue with standing water in the pipes. I honestly forget to check the pipes now because the smell isn’t alerting me to check them. Will continue to buy them.

I had my doubts about these things but figured Id try them since my bathroom sink and shower drains get clogged up with so much hair. I try to snake my drains a couple of times a year with one of those spiky flexible snake things. Normally when I do that, I end up with a wad of nasty soap scum covered hair the size of a small rat. Its been about a year since I snaked my drains. Ive been using these since the beginning of May. I went to clean out the drains this past weekend and I only pulled out a few strands of hair. Im super impressed. I just knew that I was going to realize these were a waste of money, but they definitely arent. Im going to buy more for the kitchen and other bathroom.

I was a little hesitant to leave a 3-star review (instead of a higher one), but many of the sticks were broken when the package arrived. That means if I use them in my bathroom sink, they will just wash down the drain ... instead of sitting in the drain like they are supposed to. I will say this, though, the pieces I was able to use did seem to stop the sink smell for about 2 days. After that, the smell came back. I just keep putting more sticks in, so Im not sure if the sticks arent working or if its supposed to take a long time for them to dissolve the stuff causing the smell (like the product description says). All in all, I think these are worth a purchase, but only if the pieces arrive in tact.

I bought this huge pack of these and felt like I wasted most. The scent is nice, but I didnt notice a difference in ANY of the drains I used these in. Feels like a waste of money for the most part.

Despite reading the other reviews saying how it didnt have a scent, or that the stick broke, or worst-case scenario of it making the clog worse, I stubbornly decided to try this anyway. I didnt mind that it didnt have a strong scent, but I started wishing it did after my drain stopped draining at all and I decided to plunge it. Plunging it made it incredibly worse bc it brought up all this putrid-smelling black gunk. Our apartments handy man couldnt make it over for 2 days so that was disappointing--to say the least. On the upside, our tub is still working after we put a stick down the drain--thats a pretty low bar tho.
