> 3 daySECOND EDIT: So, I was told that I could use their Main Line Opener on my sink that the stick plugged up. Its been sitting for 8 hours. The water hasnt gone down at all. The container says 30 minutes. WORTHLESS AND HAS DONE MORE HARM THAN GOOD! ********************************************************************************************************* THIS IS MY1st EDITED REVIEW: AFTER 5 OR 6 DAYS MY BATHROOM SINK IS NOT DRAINING AT ALL. CALLED CUSTOMER SERVICE AND WAS TOLD IT TAKES 2 WEEKS TO DISSOLVE. THE WOMAN WAS NASTY ON THE PHONE AND SCREAMED IM TRYING TO HELP YOU! SHE ACTUALLY HUNG UP ON ME. SHE HAS AN ATTITUDE PROBLEM AND SHOULD BE TERMINATED!!! Called again after I was hung up on. Verified that these sticks dont completely dissolve for 2 WEEKS! I had purchased their main liner opener just to have on hand. Thought Id try that. It doesnt list the ingredients on the bottle! Had to make sure I could use it with that stick that is now plugging my drain. The second woman was nice and refunded the order. So I was correct. This stick actually plugged up my bathroom sink. NEVER BUYING THEIR PRODUCTS AGAIN AND WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE! I think the strip has helped plug up my sink. I usually use Drano when the drain on my bathroom sink starts slowing down to get rid of soap scum. This time I used one of these worthless things. My sink immediately slowed down. So then I put hot water in the sink to melt the stick. Didnt work apparently. Now its the third day and it just took my sink 20 minutes to drain. I can still see water down in the drain so it hasnt completely drained yet. Just tired of hanging out in the bathroom reading the news on my phone while timing it. Im wondering if these things get old and dont dissolve. IM VERY ANGRY!!! THIS IS WORTHLESS !!! Not sure what to do. Dont know if I can put Drano down it or not. Would that cause toxic fumes? I cant afford a plumber. Thats why I have always maintained it with Drano, which has worked for years. I also bought their Main Drain Opener | Drain Cleaner Hair Clog Remover product in case I had any problems in the future. Just trying to be prepared in case I ever have an emergency. Its still in the Amazon box and now I would be terrified to use it. Who knows what it would do? I DONT TRUST THEIR PRODUCTS!!!!

> 3 dayMy only negative about this product is that my drain isn’t an open one but one metal “covering” it like a drain filter. Not sure how to describe it. So when I put one of these in there, I have to force it into the openings because it can’t just drop into the drain. Other then that, I’ve used these for about 8 months and they do exactly what they’re suppose to do. My drains have not smelled this whole time, which was an issue with standing water in the pipes. I honestly forget to check the pipes now because the smell isn’t alerting me to check them. Will continue to buy them.

> 3 dayIf I could measure the bacteria in my drains, before and after, I could tell you if these work. Worth a shot! If I have no clogs for a year, Ill be a believer!

Greater than one weekWe have a camp on the river that my family uses. The tub/shower and bathroom sink drains are on 1. 5 drain lines. I use to have to manually clean out the drains with a bottle brush every few weeks to keep them open and running free now I just clean them out at the end of the season when I close up for winter.

> 3 dayI started using these sticks after buying OTHERS and them NOT clearing up the slow draining sinks. I use them whenever I Think of putting one in, usually after I start smelling my sink OR it begins backing up a little bit. It is probably about once a month to 6 weeks. I have bought other brands and I do not believe any of them work as well as Green Gobbler brand. I dont like walking into my kitchen or bath and smelling YUK. And thats the only way I Can Describe the stench. These seem to do the trick and as far as Im concerned, worth the money spent. I do Feel that others who were not so pleased with them probably have different septic/etc. treatment plants. Ours is less than 7 miles away, so between close proximity and green gobbler sticks-Im Happy!

> 3 dayI’ve been using these for a couple of years and I enjoy the satisfaction that there are beneficial bacteria in the drain trap that will eat anything that gets stuck in our drains. The bacteria when it gets past the trap, will assist in the breakdown in septic systems. It doesn’t really smell like anything and clears up stinky drains by eating what’s in it. It is not as fast as drano, however, Drano is caustic and will kill the bacteria in septic systems and supposedly is bad for pipes. The sticks dissolve in water so you have to drop them down into your drains. I recommend this product.
