MUCH smaller than anticipated, this is not the size of an adult skull, but rather the size of a small baby. Had this been the size of an adult skull, it would have gotten 5 stars. Other than that, the construction is very solid and it has a light-brown finish, with dark red eye sockets.

Smaller than expected

First the good: the molding detail is just excellent. Now the rest: its pretty small. I read the reviews and knew it would be, but I was still a little surprised by the size. Im going to try to post a picture of it next to a life size skull to really show the difference. Its a shame, because again, this thing is super realistic (in the molding). The other problem is the painting. I was worried about the red around the eye sockets, but thats not too bad, HOWEVER, there are a few small rubbed/missed spots of no paint where the jawbone meets the skull on one side, which was a real bummer. That was what dropped my review from 4 stars to 3. I guess if you were creative, you could fix or enhance the paint. I got it for $9.50, in my mind, i would have been happier if it was $7-$8.

This skull is beautiful but the size is not realistic It is very sturdy and well made regardless. The painting and coloring is very pretty.

The Halloween Grinning Skull will be perfect as part of our table centerpieces for our Halloween Party in Oct. I am very happy with the quality of the skulls. The product was packaged well and delivered in a timely manner. The only issue I have with the seller is the amount I was charged for shipping. $125.00 to ship 18 poly foam skull (just under $3.00 each = about $54.00). By the time I realized what I had been charged for shipping it was too late to cancel the order. The seller did offer to refund part of the shipping cost once Amazon released my payment funds to them. I hope they follow through.

We bought this as a replacement for a life size adult resin skull that was used to hold headphones. This may be the size of a toddler head. Im not sure where they got their measurements but we measured 5 1/2 x 3.75 x 3.
