In my photo, Audiopipe is on the left and GS Power is on the right. Un-stripped they are about the same size. Stripped with the same tool you can see the considerable difference in how much wire there is. The Audiopipe insulation is really thick, and if thats what matters (not how much current it can handle) then that is the wire for you. What many sellers DONT say is that they are selling CCA (Copper Clad Aluminum), rather than pure copper wire. Its hard to see in the photo, but each strand of the Audiopipe wire really is a different color on the inside. You can solder it due to the copper coating, but its not copper and that means it will expand more when heated so Id avoid clamp connections. The bottom line is that if you really need 12 AWG and you dont want aluminum wire you should pay the extra price for GS Power. They are honest about what they sell.

OK, I did not use this wire for speakers. I have vehicles in the driveway but the pandemic limits my use of vehicles. So I bought Battery Minders to keep them topped off. The problem is that the vehicles are not in the garage and the Battery Minders cant be left outside. This low impedance wire solved that problem. It seems tough enough to stand California weather (note: no snow!) and it is bright enough that the mailman wont trip on it...

Stranded copper wire is always my choice for wiring boats or automobiles. This is the first time I have used this wire and it matches my standards. Affordable larger size wiring for wiring to a subpanel with fuses and wire connection points for other circuits.

Not bad. Just not high grade wire. But it worked for what I needed it for.

This is the wire youre looking for. Strands are heavy duty yet bend well and hold their shape. Ill be coming back for more for future car audio installs.

I used this speaker wire to rewire my boat. Lots of different size wires on my boat, biggest being 10 gauge, so I yanked them all out and replaced them all with this 10 gauge speaker wire. I dont have a chassis ground, so all negative gets ran back to my fuse box, so having the 2 wires attached helped out a lot. I used non insulated Connectors and heat shrinked them. The wire is pure copper, and true 10 gauge.

Not much to say. Price is very good. Product is easy to work with. Made several speaker cables and all work perfectly.
