Hakko 633-01 633 Soldering Iron Holder, White

The wool makes it easy too keep the tip of my iron clean between work. I dont like how easily the wool holder comes out, there should be a positive lock too keep it from popping out when moving or storing the stand. The plastic ring in the rest seems like a bad idea if you accidentally pull on the cord or miss while putting the iron in the holder, just seems like it would melt. So far I have managed to not melt it. Still, this is much better than putting it on the ground.

It’s good enough, nice that it includes the tip cleaner, at half the price it would be a great buy. I’m happy with it though, it’s stable and should last forever.

Outstanding soldering iron holder! The fit, finish, and usability of this iron stand is second to none. Powder-coated paint job, floating 599B brass-coil tip cleaner(allowing for very easy removal,cleaning/coil pack replacement). Also has a tab inside the ceramic pen sleeve, which gently pinches the iron shaft to ensure it is secure. I have noticed NO temp fluctuation regarding this metal to metal contact. I have been using Hakko soldering irons for more than 15 years now, & I will never use anything else. This stand does have a slightly larger footprint then most iron stands, so take this into account. It is extremely stable though, so perfection IMO. But if you have a little extra space on your workstation, you cant go wrong with this holder. It holds my Hakko 936-ESD iron perfectly, but also held my friends weller digital WS iron very well too. I would consider this stand universal, but designed specifically for Hakko products. Happy Soldering!

I was always concerned with my 808 Desoldering Tool that Id burn something, and actually did. This stand keeps my new one from hitting the table top. Nice gear!

Too pricey but dont leave home without one of these stands.. The 808 is light and will slide all over your work space if it is not seated in a stand..This unit was just right..
