Easy installation, several different color options, love these lights!

Easy install. I have experience with electric so that was a plus. When replacing an existing light, the joist that it’s affixed to may be an issue. The setup for this light is between 2 joist since it just locked in to the drywall. Trying to use an existing hole near a joist wasn’t going to work so I had to move it over a few inches so the light can sit flush in the ceiling. This created a hole a little bigger than the light and I had to do some minor repair.

I did not purchase these LEDs from Amazon or from any store. I hired a local electric company to provide and install the LED lights in our kitchen ceiling (got rid of the old florescent tubes). They wanted the install the 6 Direct Mount Baffle Trim LEDs, but I wanted the thinner one because they look nicer and they sit flush against the ceiling. They only stick out about 1/8 inch from the ceiling surface. Also, this model has adjustable color temperature switch. Since this is the first time I used ceiling LEDs, was not sure how many I needed or where to place them. After telling the electrician what I would like to do, we decided on six LEDs and the placement would be in the pattern of the number six on a dice. This pattern would give the best lighting coverage for all areas of the kitchen. After installation, we turned on the lights and wow, the entire kitchen area was very bright. All areas of the kitchen had perfect lighting coverage. We set the LED temperature to 4000 because we wanted it to have natural lighting. Everything was perfect.

I didnt install them. The lights I ordered came in packages look like theyre used. Returned. I ordered halo SMD same size 6 5000k round trim. HLB is smaller compare to SMD. SMD doesnt need J-box or housing. SMD has 600 lumens brighness.

Easy install and great value.

these were great for our renovation project. they are wafer thin and easy to install. we used them in the family room, over the kitchen island and outside in the soffits. Grouped and tied them to smart switch dimmers. Love them! Great that you can choose either bright white, medium or warm light (set on the switch before you pop them in the ceiling).

I bought 5 of these for a living room remodel from a big box store, but found them on amazon for less after the fact. Will buy for the rest of the house from amazon.

Having been using these for a couple years now. Wonderful lights. So easy to instal by anyone with small amounts of electrical knowledge. Save so much money. 100% recommend

These are so much less of a hassle than installing the housings between studs and wiring them together. And they lasted a long time, this is not the first time Ive purchased these have been buying them for a years.
