These new tabbed filters definitely change your flow rate. I ground a batch of coffee 32 grams and compared the old (untabbed) filters to the new (tabbed) filters. Using 16 grams for each cup the new filters extracted for 24 seconds longer than the old! I think I can adjust the grind to compensate a little bit, but just buy the old style and leave your recipe as is.

These cone filters work perfectly. Do not burst when taking them out for disposal. No concerns at all. I will be purchasing these again.

I use these filters in my Chemex pour-over. They work perfectly in the 6-cup unit and would probably be fine in the 8-cup as well.

Look at other reviews here before buying this product. If you have been using a Hario V60 for a while and have used the previous filters you know this version is a pain on the butt. MY packaging says VCF-02-100W-JW (the JW seems to be the difference). The old filters were version VCF-02-100W. There is definitely a difference.

Brews good coffee, prefer the white version over the brown/natural type.

They clog. Every time. Badly. Compared to the original style filters without tabs, these are awful. I consistently get brew times ~1 minute longer even after backing off grind size a notch on my Virtuoso. And the over-extracted coffee which results. Why mess with a good thing?

I have no complain.

These filters are great and I received them quickly. Was disappointed that there has been a price increase since my last order. I am always looking to source these at the least expensive possible price. If prices continue to increase then it will be cheaper for me to pick these up at my local coffee shop. My reason for ordering online to date has been that the cost was lower.
