I dont use it like a trivet. Ive been using this on top of my counters (like by the stove) to hold all my knives and spoons while Im cooking. Sure has cut down on the mess having a place to set all this stuff while you work! A lot better than those spoon holders. I merely hang this where I hang my pot holders, etc. as it has a cut out on one end for hanging. This is simple to wash and has saved my counters from having sauce and soup spills, or just having a messy counter. When Im done, take to the sink and wash off, hang and done.

I love that this pad is oversized! Most ones in stores are small, this will hold my gigantic curlers!!!!

I purchased this about a month ago & I love it! I bought it for my flat iron & straightening brush but it is big enough for my hair dryer. It has a velco strap so that you can wrap the mat around the tool to put it away while its still hot. It is also a nice thick material so there is 0 concern about your counters getting burnt. I am going to purchase another one so that I have one for both my flat iron & my straightening brush! I used to purchase my heat mats from a beauty supply store in my area & paid more then what I paid for this & it was smaller & flimsy. For the money this mat is amazing.

I actually use this in my salon to lay my tools down for some cushioning. But I also love that if I put a hot iron on it, I don’t have to worry about my counters. Also, it rolls up nice if you’re going to travel with it.

Protects surface when using a curling iron or my waver

This is handy in the kitchen, hair hot irons and small space heater mat for my greenhouse.

Returning this product. The color came off on my CHI flat iron. Do not buy!
