Considering the part to turn our crib into a toddler bed was $130 this is a good compromise. I would install under the springs as many others have said. I dont love that my sons mattress is higher up off the ground, but its not the end of the world. It is a little flimsy but it should keep him from falling out which is all that really matters. Its not a forever situation so I think this product is worth buying for the price.

Was very easy to assemble.

It works for its intended use but its not very sturdy, it moves back and forth quite a bit. Makes me nervous when my LO leans on it or puts her weight on it to help herself up. It does keep her safe in her bed at night though, before I installed it she was falling out of bed a few times a night, so this product has been very helpful.

I installed it on my sons convertible crib and for the past few days, it has been amazing! easier for me to put him in bed since I am short and he can get out of bed when needed or when waking from a nap (he is 1.5). What I love is that the company sends a message explaining how to install it and giving information on how to contact them if I have any questions. Normally I dont get that from my orders so it was very nice to see and made me feel like they actually care about their customers. I have already recommended this to several friends of mine.

I just installed the safety rail to my daughters bee, and the whole process took less than 10mins and was so easy. My daughter is excited for her big girl bed! Well see how it holds to her rough play, she was already jumping on her bed while holding onto the railing.. but Im confident itll hold up fine.

Worked great for my 2 yr old transitioning from crib to toddler bed. He would sleep laying against it so it’s pretty sturdy & I had breathable mesh.

Little smaller than what I think it should be.

I opted to purchase this Guard rail for my daughters converted crib rather than the one that was made for the bed. I liked that this one seemed to cover more of the side and had the option to fold down. The one that was made for the bed was much more expensive and was only on one side. Shes a pretty active sleeper and I was afraid shed turn herself around or scoot down and roll out. I was able to put this together on my own, but I did have to use a screw driver to help get it attached to the bed, it was a little awkward to do - My arms were not long enough to do it from the front of the bed, so I had to do it from behind through the crib rails. I did also notice that the mattress seemed to have a slight tilt towards the railing after installed. I didnt think too much of it, but then realized every night my daughter would start in the middle of the mattress and eventually roll towards the guard rail. I put small long box under the bed on that side which seemed to even it back out and she stopped rolling to wards the railing. Other feedback is that the option to lower the rail is great, but its a little difficult to do. I have to get down so I can use both my hands and my chin to get it lowered. Otherwise I cant pull the locks up and get it lowered all at the same time. Maybe just user error? Overall it is doing exactly what we need it to do!

We originally bought one but the poles would not fit or slide into each other to put together for some reason. After contacting the company they replaced it no problem, and the next one fit together just fine and we love it!
