Perfect replacement for when the pull string failed and I was stupid and opened the internals. After multiple tries to recoil the spring, I bought this replacement.

The rope broke on my coil assembly and this worked fantastic as a replacement.

Had to do some research to make sure this would fit my blowers since there are two versions depending on how old model you own. Direct replacement to mine.

Finally found the recoil starter for my gas blower, Fit perfectly, is easy to replace, and at a good price. Just needed better pictures of both sides of the part.

I put this on last year in the middle of summer and this spring the rope has already snapped, so not even a full year of use, more like 2-3 months tops once you take out the winter storage months.

I can add my confirmation to this: it is a perfect fit for my Hitachi RB 24EAP leaf blower. The coiled spring inside my existing unit was bent beyond easy repair, and after multiple hours of still trying to fix it without success, I caved and bought this. Fortunately, it took me all of 2 minutes to screw in place, and I was back up and running! I wish it wasnt nearly $30 to repair a $100 leaf blower, but I suppose I could consider it saved me $70 on purchasing a new one.
