We used them on our gutters for Christmas lights

Get help to hang the lights. The clips do not hold weaght well. So if you start at one end of the gutter, and your string of lights not hung yet dangle on the ground. The weaght of the lights pulls the clips off.

Used for lights on the patio cover. Just the kind I needed.

Product was easy to use and worked well for holding up light strings outdoors for Christmas.

Cheap. Used these to hang lights from gutter. Even doubled and tripled up the hanging point along the install to ensure they wouldn’t fall or fail. After about one month, all of the clips broke (sheared off in same spot) and the lights came crashing down. I’m not sure if they failed due to UV exposure or what, but they broke (all of them that were in use) and broke in the exact same spot. I would not recommend these to anyone as I believe they were poorly engineered (assuming they were) and poorly manufactured. Look elsewhere.

Nice product, worked out perfectly for my patio lights. Just wish they had a smaller qty.

Good thing they come in a quantity of 100. You sneeze...they break! While they are easy to install and function as described, I cant let the ladder get too far away. I am constantly replacing them. Just wish they were more tolerant of the weather. I installed them in summer, have to imagine I will have the same problem in the winter. For that reason, I probably will not put up outside lights this winter.

I put up the lights around my patio in June and today (9/12) while around the house I heard a crash and saw that an entire side had broke. At least 8 clips broke, you can see in the pictures. Luckily no light bulbs broke. They have withstood heavy storms and winds. But today there was barely a gust. These arent reliable and will be getting something else.
