Good thing they come in a quantity of 100. You sneeze...they break! While they are easy to install and function as described, I cant let the ladder get too far away. I am constantly replacing them. Just wish they were more tolerant of the weather. I installed them in summer, have to imagine I will have the same problem in the winter. For that reason, I probably will not put up outside lights this winter.

I put up the lights around my patio in June and today (9/12) while around the house I heard a crash and saw that an entire side had broke. At least 8 clips broke, you can see in the pictures. Luckily no light bulbs broke. They have withstood heavy storms and winds. But today there was barely a gust. These arent reliable and will be getting something else.

Unfortunately, almost all of this clips have broken and fallen off my gutter. Perhaps they were affected by sunlight. Coupled with the fact that they are somewhat difficult to install because the clip doesnt really fit the gutter lip, it has not been a satisfying purchase. Perhaps if you were only using this for seasonal use, such as Christmas, and then remove them they might last. However, I was trying to use them to hold up a strip of lights full time and they didnt last very long.

Nice product, worked out perfectly for my patio lights. Just wish they had a smaller qty.

Easy to install.

These clips are only worth hanging lights for one season (summer, fall, etc.). I hung outdoor lights in mid June and by early September they began to fail, one after another. I do not recommend this product.

Product was easy to use and worked well for holding up light strings outdoors for Christmas.
